Britney's Stand Up For Cancer Comedy Sketch

Britney shows off her acting chops in this skit for charity.

Stars like Britney Spears, Pharrell Williams, Gordon Ramsay, Michael Sheen and more played parts in a Stand Up To Cancer spoof. They’re shown auditioning for roles in a film about the life of former Wimbledon champion Andy Murray.

The skit aired over the weekend as part of Channel 4’s Stand Up To Cancer fundraising telethon.

Hilarity ensues.

Kelly Clarkson Covers Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me”

Kelly Clarkson Covers Sam Smith's "Stay With Me"

Kelly Clarkson likes the word “stay.”

If your song features those four letters, Kelly Clarkson will probably cover it. She told audiences “I just like the word ‘stay’ in songs” before covering Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me” at her concert at Symphony Park over the weekend.

She has a song on her last album called “Don’t You Wanna Stay” with Jason Aldean.

She performed this flawlessly. Obviously.

Update! Listen To Taylor Swift’s “Welcome To New York”

ANOTHER UPDATE: I was told by the higher ups to take the full song down and replace it with the approved YouTube version. The last thing I want to do is piss off Taylor Swift. Then again, maybe she’ll write a song about me. Full version removed…

Update: The full song leaked. Hear it after the jump!

Searching for a sound we hadn’t heard before.

Taylor Swift shared a preview of the first song off “1989″ called “Welcome To New York.” The song’s co-written with Ryan Tedder and features a similar forced poppy feel to “Shake It Off.” Not that I mind.

She says of the song:

“I wanted to start the album with this song because New York has been an important landscape and location for the story of my life in the last couple of years. I dreamt about moving to New York, I obsessed over moving to New York and then I did it.

The inspiration I found in that city is kind of hard to describe, and hard to compare to any other force of inspiration I’ve ever experienced in my life. It’s like it’s an electric city.”
