Zedd’s going urban with help from Liam Payne.

Zedd has a song of the summer contender on his hands with his Alessia Cara-assisted single “Stay,” but the producer has his sights set on a followup. The producer’s next release is titled “Get Low” and features Liam Payne (out Thursday, July 6) – he describes it as “the most urban-ish influenced song” he’s ever created.

The song has a “Drake-ish influenced sound but very open to something that sounds unique and different,” said Zedd, adding it’s a good balance between where the former One Direction band member is going with his solo project and his own. “[Liam] really pulled it towards a direction that I would not have and I love where it is… I would say it is probably the most urban-ish influenced song I’ve ever done… it’s insanely catchy.”

See the cover art below (side note: does it annoy anyone else that the artist didn’t bother to colorize half of the palm trees in the reflection?).

#GetLow w/ @LiamPayne – out 7/6!
