Whitney Houston becomes digitally immortalized.

The Whitney Houston estate is planning a posthumous holographic tour of the late singer titled An Evening with Whitney: The Whitney Houston Hologram Tour. It is currently scheduled to begin in Europe on February 25, 2020. There’s a full list of dates available on AnEveningWithWhitney.com.

The show features singers, dancers, a live band and… sigh… a Whitney Houston hologram.

Hologram Whitney will sing her biggest hits including “I Will Always Love You”, “I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)”, and the 2019 Kygo produced single, a cover of Steve Winwood’s “Higher Love.”

Pat Houston, president of the Estate, had this to say:

“Whitney is not with us, but her music will live with us forever. We know we made the right decision partnering with BASE because they understand how important it is to produce a phenomenal hologram. They also know that engaging her fans with an authentic Whitney experience would resonate worldwide because of the iconic status that she created over three decades. Her fans deserve nothing less because she gave nothing less than her best.”

The estate released a new still of the Whitney hologram, and fans are feeling a bit unsettled.

The first photo is the new still, the second photo is a still the estate released last September.

Thoughts on the hologram? Am I the only one that feels icky about this? Let us know what you think in the comments. Register an account in 30 seconds and use your voice.

  1. It’s scary! (I think i need some hypnotherapy, yeah~) So, like, it’s okay for artists to just die now because they estate can still live on and earn money through hologram concerts and tours??? 😳

  2. Tte one in the dress does not look anything like her. They better not have that version when I go and see it! I’m gonna be pissed off! 😤

The one wearing the jeans has her face.

  3. The top pic favors Halle Berry. The bottom pic looks like Whitney. I think it’s kind of weird to have a hologram giving a concert. What if they have an equipment malfunction? It’s gonna happen atleast once.

  4. I am MAJOR MAJOR FAN OF WHITNEY! I hoped to one day even meet her and woe would have been nice to even just get on the stage with her! But having a hologram is going a little bit overboard! I mean we becoming so robotic is crazy! WE are losing Humanity!! Just give a tribute show to Whitney Houston bring out the best that we have of the old and new! And leave it at that! RIP.. they just won’t leave you alone! Work you like a slave when you alive! Condemn you! Love you and Profit off of you alive or dead! The corrupt music industry!
