Wait. Did The Recording Academy Just Low-Key Reveal Lady Gaga Will Win A Grammy?

A new post from the Recording Academy alludes to Lady Gaga taking home the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album for Joanne.

A new post from the Recording Academy alludes to Lady Gaga taking home the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album for Joanne.

Either the social media interns responsible for populating posts on the Grammys Facebook page are throwing viewers off, are making light of something they feel is historic, or, in my opinion,  just revealed that Mother Monster is winning.

They posted:

“Lady Gaga’s ‘Joanne’ is among the nominees for Best Pop Vocal Album. She won in this category seven year sago for ‘The Fame Monster.’ Gaga is vying to become the third two-time winner in the category’s history, following Kelly Clarkson and Adele.”

Sure, I could be reading into this too much, but it just feels very sus. Obviously, Gaga is vying for a Grammy win, so why highlight this? Mom won, I can feel it.

Gaga’s Joanne faces Coldplay’s Kaleidoscope EP, Lana Del Rey’s Lust for Life, Imagine Dragons’ Evolve, Kesha’s Rainbow and Ed Sheeran’s ÷.

“Million Reasons” is nominated in the Best Pop Solo Performance category.
