R9 is coming.
Well this is interesting. Rihanna has just registered two new songs on ASCAP. Is R9 on the way? Let’s speculate, shall we?
One of the new tunes is titled “Phatty.” It’s written by the Bad Gal Riri herself, as well as Mark Anthony Myrie A.K.A. reggae artist Buju Banton.
The pop star filmed a SnapChat of herself listening to his music earlier this year. Even better, Rih headed into a recording studio in NYC this week wearing a shirt with Banton’s face on the front. Practically a confirmed collab.

We also know of another song Rih has in the works. It’s titled “Only One Who Knows,” and she’s got another writing credit on it. Receipts:
At one point in her career, Rihanna was releasing an album nearly every year. She broke that trend with ANTi by waiting a whopping four. The record remains flaw free, but a new LP from Riri in 2017 would be more than welcome.
