The ‘Blue Neighbourhood’ singer rocks all blue on the cover.

Troye Sivan is Rolling Stone Australia’s latest cover model.

The 20-year-old Blue Neighbourhood singer poses in… blue, and opens up about how Internet stardom catapulted him into the mainstream music.

“Sivan’s music is altogether more sophisticated than the output of many of his pop peers,” said editor-in-chief Matt Coyte. “It’s more akin to the music of, say, Flume or Flight Facilities than Ed Sheeran or One Direction, and here lies the conundrum. How do you create a live experience that appeals to both swooning kids and discerning clubbers?”

Most recently, Sivan made headlines in the U.S. for his mashup of Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” with Selena Gomez’s “Hands To Myself” and his performance of “Youth” on The Tonight Show.

Sivan is preparing for a tour that kicks off in Vancouver, Canada on Feb. 3.
