Troye Sivan and Carly Rae Jepsen Created New Music Together

The best song in history already exists.

The best song in history already exists.

I have good news and bad news for you. The good is Troye Sivan and Carly Rae Jepsen have worked on new music together for Troye’s forthcoming album. The bad is that everything they created together was left on the cutting room floor.

In a new interview with PopBuzz, Troye was reminded of a quote he recently said – that there’s a song on the record “which girls and gays are going to die for.” They point-blank asked if it was a collab with CRJ.

No, no it’s not.

“For this album, we wrote and it just never, like…sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t,” he said. “We wrote a really cute song…you end up writing 50 songs for an album when you wanna pick 10 so sometimes they just don’t make it”.

If it won’t land on Troye’s new record, perhaps Carly will include it on hers? The “Gimme Love” singer is readying a disco-tinged album that is expected to drop some time this year. Come through, Queens.
