When two legends reunite.

Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga are going to dance cheek to cheek this New Year’s Eve.

The legendary singer casually dropped some very important news! The Library of Congress presented Mr. Bennett with the prestigious Gershwin Prize for American Song in a concert at D.A.R. Constitution Hall in Washington D.C. on Wednesday (Nov. 15), but before the ceremony Bennett did some press. He was asked who some of his favorite collaborations have been over his illustrious career, and that opened the door to mention Mother Monster.

“Lena Horne is the best that I’ve ever worked with,” Bennett said, adding “but I’m definitely going to do another song with Lady Gaga on New Year’s Eve.”

The reply caught the reporter off guard. She asked what song they were going to do, but he quipped: “make a lot of money.” Well played, Mr. Bennett!

It’s unclear whether he was referring to a brand new song or one they’ve performed together in the past. Let’s hope the pair will debut it in Vegas, and that it’s a new original.
