There’s A Rumor That Demi Lovato Is Releasing A Remix Of “Tell Me You Love Me” With Either Christina Aguilera or Sam Smith

Rumor has it Demi is readying a remix of album title track, “Tell Me You Love Me,” set for this Friday (Dec. 15).

Oh tell me it’s true.

Be still, my heart! Rumor has it Demi Lovato is readying a remix of album title track, “Tell Me You Love Me,” set for this Friday (Dec. 15).

There are two artists attached to the chatter. The first is Christina Aguilera. Why? Twitter trolls. Christina fans thought it’d be funny to add fuel to a non-existent fire and create speculation from nothing. Check out this Tweet chain that “confirms” the collab. It caused quite a stir and then they came clean – they lied.

That’s messed up. Why did so many believe it? Because there is reason to believe Demi and Christina actually did record together, but it appears to be for Xtina’s forthcoming (lololol) album. Read more about that here.

Sam Smith is the other candidate, and that rumor has more traction. Demi recently covered Sam’s “Too Good At Goodbyes,” which prompted a gushy back-and-forth between the two pop stars on Twitter.

To be honest, I’d love me a Demi & Christina collab, but not on a remix. It needs to be a proper original. So if there is a “Tell Me You Love Me” re-working on the way, and it does indeed feature Sam, I’ll give the Internet mad props for calling it, then loop it on repeat. It’s going to be a real treat listening to both of them try and ousting one another.
