Francis Bean Cobain To Lana Del Rey: Don't Romanticize An Early Death

Lana Del Rey’s still under fire for telling an interviewer she “was dead already,” this time from Kurt Cobain’s daughter, Frances Bean, who lost her rock legend father too soon.

She told fans on Twitter:

Prior to Francis’ remarks on the subject, Lana told fans she regretted ever saying that.

She Tweeted (though they’re since deleted):

“I regret trusting the Guardian. I didn’t want to do an interview but the journalist was persistent. Alexis (sic) was masked as a fan but was hiding sinister ambitions and angles. Here’s their latest batch of Tweetication:

Meanwhile, Lana listed Francis’ mom, Courtney Love, as one of her music idols. She told reporters this week:

“Courtney Love’s a big inspiration,” she said. “I like her, I talk to her a lot. I just went to her show… when she was playing in London. I like people who are similar to her, like Joni Mitchell types or Stevie Nicks, who are both strong female characters.”
