The Weeknd Drops Explosive Video For “False Alarm”

It’s controversy. That’s what they all want.

Don’t say he didn’t warn ya.

The Weeknd has dropped the explicit, gun-heavy video for “False Alarm”, the second single from his upcoming album, after announcing the release yesterday with a parental warning.

Filmed from his point-of-view, things turn deadly in the cinematic piece as we watch The Weeknd carry out a bank robbery, kidnap a young girl and shoot his way through a high-speed car chase.

It’s not all bad, though. The kidnapped girl turns out to be in on the robbery and walks away with a stack of cash in the end.

The gun-wielding singer will definitely get people talking with the controversial mini-movie, which could definitely boost the track to the top of the charts.

“False Alarm” follows “Starboy“, the title track of his third album due out on Nov. 25.

Watch the video below.

Kim Kardashian may want to hold off on watching this one.
