Here’s When Lady Gaga’s New Song “Shallow” Premieres

The soundtrack for A Star Is Born is officially available for pre-order.

Check out a sneak peek of Lady Gaga’s new song, “Is That Alright?”

Mother Monster is readying a new tune(!!!). It’s one of the many new original creations she cooked up for the forthcoming soundtrack of A Star Is Born.

It sounds ~magical.~

“Life is so simple, a little boy, a little girl / Laughing and loving, trying to figure out the world,” she sings over a somber piano melody.

“I want you to look right in my eyes / To tell me you love me / To be by my side / I want you at the end of my life / I wanna see your face, when I fall with grace / At the moment I die / Is that alright?”

I’m feeling emotional.

Gaga’s other Star song, “Shallow,” premieres on Thursday, September 27 at 9:30 am PST!

The soundtrack for A Star Is Born is officially available for pre-order.

The gargantuan project includes 34 songs in total(!!!), 12 of which are original tracks performed by Mother Monster in collaboration with DJWS (DJ White Shadow).

“Every song that she has in [A Star Is Born] we did together,” DJWS told BreatheHeavy.com this month. “Last year was kind of wacky because you’re not writing songs with Lady Gaga FOR Lady Gaga. You’re writing songs with Lady Gaga for the character she’s playing in the movie. It was a third element that was a little different than the way we normally work together.”

He continued: “Man, it was super fun. I’m so stoked about this movie and this soundtrack. It’s next-level s–t! For [this soundtrack], we got to delve into a lot of emotions. I’ve seen the movie so many times throughout the edits, throughout the shooting, to try and get a feeling for what the story was and who the people were, and write to that. It was a unique, grand experience. And to be able to do that with [Gaga]… it’s always incredible. I couldn’t be happier.” Read the full interview here.
