The ladies on The Talk gab about Britney’s quote in In Style magazine about feeling the pressure to always look a certain way.

“In this business you make a deal with the devil. What I do calls for me to look good. People expect that. I kind of take it as my job.”

“I think it depends on your brand,” says Aisha Tyler. “In Britney’s case, when she came onto the scene she was doing Oops and the short skirts, and Slave 4 U with the midriff and the snake… she’s established a certain look and feel for her work. Somebody maybe like Adele it’s really about her voice and not about her looks… it doesn’t matter if she’s curvacious or thin it’s really about her singing.”

Sara Gilbert says she finds non-traditional beauty more appealing.

Sharon Osbourne adds some roles require a specific look, saying: “The thing is is to look a certain way. If you are a talk show host, or you are a popstar… you have to be well groomed. You have to look a certain way.”

What do YOU think? Should Britney give into the pressure of fitting the mold, or should she throw her hands up and not give a ****. Is that even a realistic expectation to uphold?
