Selena Gomez lends some much needed star power to the Kids’ Choice Awards.

If Britney Spears isn’t attending Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards, we’re not sure why anyone would tune in. Regardless, we have a couple of highlights for you, including the star studded(ish) opening monologue featuring the Revival singer and Shelton’s fellow judges on The Voice Adam Levine and Pharrell, Fifth Harmony’s win and Gwen Stefani’s “meltdown.”

The Opening:

Fifth Harmony wins: showed up to collect an award for Best Group and got slimed.

Gwen Stefani demands a stream: The “Misery” singer frantically asked her fans where she could watch the show because she was stuck in Japan and literally couldn’t.

DNCE performed “Cake By The Ocean:”
