A guy receives a piece of awful news in The Chainsmokers’ new music video for their Phoebe Ryan-assisted song “All We Know” off their recently-released EP Collage, and the duration of the clip is watching him handle it. He flees from his house despite his girlfriend’s attempts to reason with him, buys alcohol (where the EDM duo make a sneaky appearance) and searches for peace in nature alone. However, love prevails in the end when his significant other finds him for some TLC. Watch:

The Chainsmokers team up with Pheobe Ryan on new song “All We Know.”

There’s no stopping Alex and Drew from The Chainsmokers. They’re just coming down off the high of their Halsey-assisted single “Closer” rocking the top of the charts for weeks, and they’re looking to make another mainstream splash with “All We Know.” Sonically, the song shares a resemblance to “Closer”; Drew’s subdued vocals bop alongside Ryan’s as the pair sing about sticking by one another through the tough times.

“Never face each other / One but different covers,” they sing. “We don’t care anymore / Two hearts still beating / On with different rhythms / Maybe we should let this go.”

Alex and Drew tell BreatheHeavy of “All We Know”: “the song itself is about the hardships we often all face in relationships, those moments that seem like you cant possibly go any further together,” they said, “but regardless you go on always sticking by your ride or die.”

Listen below, cause this is all we know:

The guys add: “just know we are working 24/7 on new music and pushing the boundaries of what people have come to expect from us, no one has higher expectations on our music than ourselves. And who knows maybe a potential Chainsmokers album is in the works.”
