Britney fans bring the noise.
The Grammy committee showered Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar with nominations, but where’s Britney, *****?
Miss Britney teamed up with Australian rapper Iggy Azalea this year for their song together, the illustrious, boy-taunting pop anthem “Pretty Girls.” The unlikely duo gave the song a proper music video treatment, a performance at the Billboard Music Awards and chucked it into Britney’s Piece Of Me show, yet it’s nowhere to be found on the Grammy nominations list, specifically the Pop Duo/Group Performance category.
Instead, “Ship to Wreck” by Florence + the Machine, “Sugar” Maroon 5, “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars, “Bad Blood” by Taylor Swift featuring Kendrick Lamar and Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth’s “See You Again” were included.
The song was also eligible for a nomination in the Dance Recording category against Skrillex, Diplo and Justin Bieber, Galantis, Flying Lotus featuring Kendrick Lamar, the Chemical Brothers and Above & Beyond featuring Zoe Johnston.
And despite TIME naming the song one of the worst of the year, we feel it’s an injustice to the music world and utter disrespect to the pop princess… and we’re not alone. Here are just some of the reactions making the rounds on Twitter:

hopefully galantis doesn't win that grammy for best dance recording just so they'll come to realize they need @britneyspears to win tbh ?

Britney Spears not receiving a #Grammy nomination for “Pretty Girls”? Inexcusable ?

Oh, and while they're at it, the Grammy committee should give Grammy Legend statues to Britney Spears & Boy George! Damn, they ****.
