Indie-pop-rock band The 1975 dropped their massive new song “The Sound” today, and it’s brill.

The group premiered its third single off their upcoming sophomore album, I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It, on BBC Radio 1 today (Jan. 14). “The Sound” is a euphoric and dreamy disco tune harnessing electric guitar solos and the quartet’s airy vocals in-line with something from Daft Punk or M83. The band is clearly influenced by modern pop-rock – a promising sign of things to come when the album drops in February. Listen below:
