Tegan and Sara can’t seem to find a setting that fits in their new ‘Love You To Death’ visual.

Tegan And Sara’s new music video for “Boyfriend” is as unstable as their romantic relationships.

Canadian sisters Tegan and Sara released their summery lead single a few weeks back. It marks the first release from their second major label album, Love You to Death, and it’s a certified bop. Their signature breathy, understated vocal style sits on top of a catchy, synth-pop track with a strong electro sound and ’80s leanings.

The music video is directed by Clea Duvall and premiered on Wednesday (April 27). Parenthood alums Sarah Ramos and Mae Whitman make a cameo, as well as designer Rachel Antonoff.

In the clip, the ladies are emerged in a set that refuses to stay constant, a literal interpretation of the track, which according to Sara, is “a pretty straightforward pop song about a relationship that I was getting into with a girl who had never dated a girl before.” Nightmare.
