Taylor Swift takes this moment to shine.

Taylor Swift has the last laugh.

Not only did Taylor Swift take home Album Of The Year for 1989 at the GRAMMYs, but she did so with a brilliant and empowering acceptance speech. In it, she said “as the first woman Album Of The Year at the GRAMMYs twice, I wanna say…”

Backstory: Kanye West blasted Swift in a lyric on a song titled “Famous” featuring Rihanna from his new album The Life Of Pablo. He said: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have ***/ I made that ***** famous.”

“… There are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success, or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame, but if you just focus on the work and you don’t let those people side track you… Some day when you get where you’re going, you’ll look around and you’ll know it was you, and the people who love you who put you there. And that will be the greatest feeling in the world.”

Earlier in the day, Kanye Tweeted this, so… yeah.
