Taylor Swift Opens The VMAs With ‘Lover’ Performance

Taylor Swift kicks off the MTV Video Music Awards.

Swift’s new album Lover is on track to debut at No. 1. She won’t reach the insurmountable success that 1989 and Reputation achieved, but she’ll come close. The singer promoted the record with a performance of “You Need To Calm Down” and the album title track.
