The Queen of album sales is reclaiming her throne.

Taylor Swift is a marketing genius, and the numbers don’t lie. Her forthcoming album, Lover, out this Friday (August 23rd), has already sold more than a million copies in pre-sales worldwide, Variety reports.

It’s worth mentioning Reputation sold more than a million copies in its opening week in the U.S. alone, however any artist in the digital age who can generate more than a million in sales ahead of its release, no matter how massive their stardom is, deserves mad props.

There are a couple of factors playing into this gargantuan figure.

Swift has four different versions of the album available. Each contains the same tracklist, however the booklets feature various hand-written pages from Swift’s diaries throughout the last decade. Die-hard fans can buy all four versions as a collectors item. She also has promotional deals with Amazon Prime and Target.

Swift’s Reputation Stadium Tour grossed $266 million, making it the highest grossing North American tour by a female artist ever (previously set by Swift’s own 1989 Tour).

Lover drops August 23rd. Several days later, Swift will perform at the VMAs on the 26th. Word on the street says the next single is a song titled “Cruel Summer.”
