I don’t think Taylor Swift saw this coming, even in her wildest dreams.

When she liked a post against Britney Spears, Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry and Kanye West. in BreatheHeavy's Hangs on LockerDome

A simple like from a mega superstar can cause a commotion.

When Taylor Swift wasn’t performing her several 1989 shows at the Staples Center in Los Angeles over this past weekend, she was surfing the depths of Tumblr regarding posts about… herself. One of these posts that Swift “liked” was a comparison to her with her fans, and stars like Britney Spears, Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry and Kanye West with their fans, first reported by Popcrush. It attempts to illustrate how genuine Swift is and disconnected other artists are.

See for yourself:

This of course fired up the fanbases who began furiously campaigning against Swift. Fans bombarded Britney and Avril’s Twitter accounts, and the “Fly” singer caught wind of it. It upset her enough she felt compelled to Tweet about it, along with posting a photo collage of her best meet & greet photos. She said: “Comparison is judging and judging a person does not define who they are it defines who you are. We all Love our fans. So let’s keep it all about the love and stay positive.”

Britney remained unbothered.

We’re going to give Swift the benefit of the doubt and assume she didn’t realize the post was an attempt to knock other artists. However, we’re also aware the “Bad Blood” singer loves a good feud.
