The bad blood is water under the bridge.
Are Katy Perry and Taylor Swift collaborating on a new song together?
The two lit the Internet ablaze after Katy shared a photo of a plate of baked cookies with the caption, “feels good” and tagged Taylor. In turn, Taylor liked it and commented with a bunch of heart emojis.
Interestingly, on Twitter, Perry included the words “Let’s Be Friends.” That’s enough of a bread crumb trail for fans to believe the two are working on something together.
Both Taylor and Katy have released new music recently, so it’s not out of the realm of possibility that they united together on a female-empowerment track slated for Taylor’s forthcoming album (meanwhile, Perry is working on a new LP of her own).
It’s also not entirely out of left field. On the night of Taylor’s first Reputation Tour show last year, Katy sent Taylor an apology letter. In case you’ve been living under a very large rock, the two pop superstars have shared a public feud with one another after Taylor alleged that Katy stole her backup dancers, so she retaliated with the extremely massive take-down song, “Bad Blood,” and well… things got uglier from there.
The cookies could just be for fun, but Katy and Taylor are pretty savvy; this feels like a hint.
