Power-BFFs Taylor and Ed clean up at the People’s Choice awards, Iggy Azalea performs old new single.

The People’s Choice awards were last night, which is exciting if you care what other people think about entertainment. When it comes to music, Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran snagged themselves a handful of gongs and she of endless race-rows, Iggy Azalea, performed the reportedly scrapped single “Beg For It”.

Check out a full list of winners, performers and highlights below:

Taking home best male and female performer respectively, Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift were the big winners of the evening, with Ed also receiving Favorite Album for “X” and Taylor bagging awards for Favorite Pop Artist and Favorite Song with “Shake It Off.”

No other music act landed more than one award, although other winners included Maroon 5 (Favorite Group), 5 Seconds of Summer (Favorite Breakout Artist) and Pharrell Williams (Favorite R&B Artist.)

It was a big night for Iggy-Iggy too, not only did she win Favorite Hip-Hop Artist (if you listen very closely, you can hear the sound of Azealia Banks screaming into a pillow) but she gave a very stellar performance of “Beg For It,” which was a touch confusing since she seemed to confirm last month that she’d moved on from the MO featuring track to the (much better) Jennifer Hudson collab “Trouble.”

Despite confusion over what exactly she’s promoting right now, this was actually a really good showing for Iggy. Whilst the performance was by no means ground-breaking and it certainly won’t silence haters (that accent though, I swear it gets stronger every week), she looked cute, rapped well and tackled some simple choreography with impressive ease. This is bound to be a good thing for Miss Azalea who has been suffering a massive PR crisis recently – a couple more performances like this and she’ll remind people why they liked her in the first place.

Fall Out Boy and Lady Antebellum also performed, if that’s something you’re interested in (I’m not, sorry.)

Here’s the low-down on all the music winners:

Favorite Male Artist: Ed Sheeran
Favorite Female Artist: Taylor Swift
Favorite Group: Maroon 5
Favorite Breakout Artist: 5 Seconds of Summer
Favorite Male Country Artist: Hunter Hayes
Favorite Female Country Artist: Carrie Underwood
Favorite Country Group: Lady Antebellum
Favorite Pop Artist: Taylor Swift
Favorite Hip-Hop Artist: Iggy Azalea
Favorite R&B Artist: Pharrell Williams
Favorite Album: x, Ed Sheeran
Favorite Song: “Shake It Off,” Taylor Swift
