Miley Cyrus’ New Song “Bad Karma” Sounds Like A Bop

With a possible feature from Shawn Mendes.

It appears Miley is readying new music off her forthcoming seventh studio album. The pop star was filmed singing a bit of a new song titled “Bad Karma” en route to the Met Gala, and the tune sounds delicious.

“You say it’s bad karma being such a heartbreaker,” Miley sings over a bassy beat. “I’ve always picked a giver cause I’ve always been a taker / I’d rather just do it then I’ll think about it later (uh-huh) / Kiss me bad karma, uh (uh-huh).”

Though it’s a small preview of what’s to come, “Bad Karma” doesn’t sound like anything off Younger Now. I didn’t hate that record, but we all know Smilerz want a Bangerz 2.0, and “Bad Karma” is a step in that direction.

The song is produced by Mark Ronson.
