SZA performed “Broken Clocks” at the Grammys, although it would have been entirely understandable if she phoned it in.

The singer, who was the most-nominated woman of the night, was up for five different awards at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist, Best Urban Contemporary Album, Best R&B Performance, Best R&B Song and Best Rap/Sung Performance.

She lost in all of them.

That is baffling! I am particularly miffed at SZA losing in the Best New Artist category to Alessia Cara, who’s debut album dropped in 2015. Let that sink in.

SZA also lost to The Weeknd for urban contemporary album, Bruno Mars for both R&B categories and Kendrick Lamar and Rihanna’s “Loyalty.” for rap/sung performance.
