Britney Spears is ready to get back to her rock-hard roots and to regain those killer curves that made her famous. Yes, like most new moms, Britney packed on the pounds while carrying Baby Sean, and in the new issue of Us Weekly, the magazine reveals how the pop princess plans to zap that baby weight. “Britney has a minimum of 25 pounds to lose,” said Us Weekly’s Katrina Szish. “Some say she has even an excess of 50 pounds to lose.” Szish says that Spears will work out with a top personal trainer and plans to follow the number one diet toning Tinseltown: The Zone.
The famed plan, which preaches 40 percent carbs, 30 percent protein and 30 percent fat, worked for “Friends” stars Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow. It’s also helped former “Melrose Place” star Josie Bissett drop her pregnancy pounds. “I just tried to eat The Zone way,” Bissett said. “A lot of protein and stuff like that and a lot of exercise, and it paid off.” Spears can even have fresh Zone meals delivered right to her Malibu mansion. And she may need to — Szish says Spears won’t leave the house until she regains that **** Spears body. “She doesn’t want any more fat pictures taken,” Szish revealed. “Britney wants to be a hot mama.”
