Sia awarded a contestant $100,000 for showing the world how to love and treat animals.

Sia rewards Survivor: Kaôh Rōng contestant with $100,000 in-person, on the spot.

Moments after 51-year-old gardener from San Fransisco, Tai, finished explaining why he loves all living things, including a chicken named Mark he took care of in Cambodia, singer Sia ambushed the stage to explain how moved she was by his authenticity. The “Bird Set Free” singer declared she plans on rewarding him with $100,000 – half of which is solely for his enjoyment and the other half to donate towards an animal charity of his choice.

“I could not let Tai go home without saying that your authenticity and your care for animals really inspired me,” Sia told Tai, who finished third. “I just want to say thank you for showing America how to be kind to animals.”
