The star promotes her new album.

Selena Gomez stopped by “TODAY” for some good old traditional promo.

The 23-year-old dropped her new album “Revival” on Friday and spent the weekend performing on various shows to secure that #1 debut spot.

This morning (Oct. 12) she took to the stage in front of New York’s Rockefeller Plaza to perform three songs for thousands of screaming fans.

After starting with lead single “Good For You,” Selena took a break for a short interview where she spoke about her new direction, taking control of her image and using her lupus diagnosis to help others.

She then performed current single “Same Old Love” and closed with the first live performance of “Me & The Rhythm,” which was made into a medley with her 2013 hit “Come & Get It.”

Live performances definitely aren’t Selena’s biggest strength but props to her for trying – it sure doesn’t stop Taylor.
