“I genuinely didn’t think we were gonna get this,” Smith said in his acceptance speech alongside Jimmy Napes.
Smith faced Ellie Goulding’s “Love Me Live You Do” from Fifth Shades of Grey, Brian Wilson’s “One Kind of Love” from Love & Mercy, Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again” ft. Charlie Puth from Furious 7, and Sumi Jo’s “Simple Song #3” from Youth.
