Swift says Adams’ new “1989” cover album is surreal and dreamlike.

Ryan Adams' "1989" Record Is Complete, Shares "Bad Blood"

Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” sees mad love from Ryan Adams.

Singer Ryan Adams shared his progress throughout the summer while he worked on a “1989” cover album / tribute to Taylor Swift, much to her delight. He posted snippets along the way, including his re-working of “Bad Blood,” “Out Of The Woods,” and Wildest Dreams.

When Swifty first heard about it, she exclaimed: “Is this true??????? I WILL PASS OUT. Cool I’m not gonna be able to sleep tonight or ever again and I’m going to celebrate today every year as a holiday. I’M CALM.”.

Adams confirmed last month his Taylor Swift-approved record was completed, and it’s finally getting a proper release. This time however, Swift remained calm. She posted the cover album’s artwork on Twitter along with the scheduled release date aimed for Monday (Sep. 21), saying “Ryan’s music helped shape my songwriting. This is surreal and dreamlike.”

Adams’ take on “Bad Blood” premiered on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show via Apple Music today (Sep. 17), and is available to stream below:
