Take this with a huge grain of salt. The rumor popped up on a Selena Gomez fan account claiming so. They didn’t cite where the chatter originated from. Who needs sources when it’s this good?!

Perhaps it’s not too far out of the real of reality. IF you would have told me a few years ago that Zayn and Taylor Swift would team up for a soundtrack song off the Fifty Shades Darker movie, I would have scoffed and probably throw my coffee at you.
It’s not necessarily the pairing that makes this rumor unbelievable. It’s the range Selena’s got to hit to nail this iconic cover. She’s not typically known for high flying vocals, and “A Whole New World” is full of them. I’d be very interested to see how she tackled this. I’m cautiously optimistic.
