’80sney is coming for your scrunchies, y’all!

Rumor Has It (Again) Britney's Moroder Cover Is "Tom's Diner"

Britney’s cover on Giorgio Moroder’s song might be finished, and it might be a remake of Suzanne Vega’s “Tom Diner.”

This rumor has floated around for months, but all signs are pointing to the catchy, ’80s mid-tempo bopper as Brit’s contribution for the disco producer’s upcoming record “74 Is The New 24.”

See? It’s even on Wikipedia, so it must be true.

The vibe of her single couldn’t be timed better with the music video release of “Pretty Girls.” Yesterday, a flood of pictures and video of Britney and Iggy Azalea filming the music video for the album-less single made the rounds on the vastness of the Internet. From what we gathered, the vibe is very ’80s/’90s, so I imagine they’ll release her Vega cover not too long after “Pretty Girls.” A cohesive theme is something Britney hasn’t practiced since “Circus,” so needless to say we’re here for it.

What do you think of Britney’s potential Moroder song?
