Rihanna’s next ANTi single is “Needed Me.”
The Navy suspected the video Rihanna was filming in Miami this week during her two-day break in between ANTi shows was for either “Kiss It Better” or “Love On The Brain.” Turns out both song choices were wrong – it’s actually “Needed Me” and from the on-set pictures that have surfaced thus far, Rihanna is going Vice City up in this bitch.
In one photo, Rihanna is pictured under neon purple light, similar to the second “Work” video, vibing out on a docked speed boat. Another pic shows Rihanna scantily clad in a bedroom waving a gun in the air.
In a new interview with Vogue, Rihanna says she earned the right to choose what songs she wants to promote versus aiming for a chart-topping tune (“Work” is No. 1 on the Hot 100 anyway). “I got to do things my own way, darling,” she said of another ANTi cut titled “Consideration.” “It might not be some automatic record that will be Top 40. But I felt like I earned the right to do that now.”
UPDATE: “Needed Me” is the next confirmed single, and below is the album artwork:
