Rihanna’s ‘ANTi’ Is Finally Finished

January 24, 2016 By Jordan Miller

Rihanna confirms the news her album is complete with a bunch of red balloons.

UPDATE: Rihanna confirmed the news herself early Monday morning:

If balloon emojis are anything to go by, Rihanna’ new album is complete.

We don’t need to remind you of the many trials and tribulations Rihanna’s ANTi era endured before the album was finalized, but we will anyway.

After promoting three new singles in 2015, including the Kanye West & Paul McCartney-assisted mellow-jam “FourFiveSeconds,” “American Oxygen” and “***** Better Have My Money,” Rihanna seemed lost how she wanted to roll-out her eighth studio album. As the year progressed, Riri threw little ANTi crumbs our way to feed The Navy’s insatiable appetite – a multi-million dollar deal with Samsung which produced a confusing digital campaign, an album cover release party and a promise to tour and perform at the Grammys – all without an ounce of new tunes. Things took a turn for the worse when news broke last week Kanye West was no longer executive producing the album as previously expected.

Well, the wait is ova. The wait is ova.

Kuk Harrell, a 5X Grammy Award winning vocal producer / songwriter, who’s working with Rihanna on the album, posted a photo on Instagram toasting drink with the caption, “Mission accomplished!”

Scattered in the comments somewhere is a note from Rihanna with several red emoji balloons, the symbol she and her fans have used to celebrate ANTi milestones since she posed for photos with several at her album cover party.

If that’s not proof enough, Riri liked these Tweets Sunday evening:
