Work, work, work, work, work.

That Rihanna reign just won’t let up.

Billboard have announced that the “ANTI” lead single “Work” is staying at #1 on the Hot 100 chart for its eighth consecutive week.

The Drake-assisted smash has become Rihanna’s second longest-running #1 single on the chart – overtaking “Umbrella” and “Love The Way You Lie”, both which lasted 7 weeks – and given her a new record for the second-most weeks at #1 in Billboard history.

The 28-year-old has now spent an incredible total of 59 weeks at the top of the chart (tying The Beatles) in her 11-year-career, meaning only Mariah Carey has more with a total of 79 weeks.

Rihanna also surpassed Michael Jackson with “Work”‘s unprecedented success as it became her 14th number one on the chart.

Kiss It Better” is waiting to replace “Work” whenever it slows down.
