Rihanna Cancels Two U.K. ANTi Tour DatesFebruary 19, 2016
Rihanna was forced to reschedule two more ANTi tour dates due to “logistical” reasons.
Due to “logistical” reasons, Rihanna was forced to reschedule two more ANTi tour dates.
News broke on Thursday (Feb. 18) Rihanna postponed the beginning of her tour which affected San Diego, Houston, Austin, Dallas, Atlanta, Phoenix, San Jose and New Orleans. Her reps cited “production delays,” but we’re wondering if it’s due to poor ticket sales. If a venue sold out… production teams would overhaul their efforts to finish in time.
Unfortunately, the U.K. also sees several delays.
The concerts scheduled for Sunderland’s Stadium of Light and Cardiff’s Principality Stadium were cancelled.
Sunderland AFC’s commercial director Gary Hutchinson said: “Unfortunately this is something that can happen with major tours and naturally we are sorry for those concert-goers who were looking forward to the show. We still have an exciting summer of events planned at the Stadium of Light however, including the sell-out Beyoncé concert, which everyone is looking forward to.”
Her Coventry date at Ricoh Arena is still on for now, but was rescheduled from June 14 to June 25.
