Christina Aguilera’s Lotus followup reportedly debuts this May!

Sound familiar? That’s because last month, a May release was widely rumored. It appears that’s still a-go! Better yet, Xtina has some seriously huge plans to get the ball rolling with the new LP, which sounds like “mostly pop with some R&B sounds.”

According to Us Magazine, who’s doubling down on the May release date, Christina “is in talks with the Billboard Music Awards to make her first big appearance in years.” The show airs on May 20. They didn’t clarify whether that appearance includes a performance (it better sis).

They also add that Xtina is in negotiations “for multiple radio summer shows, like Wango Tango,” adds their source. “Her team is in full-on planning mode.”
