Prince is ruling iTunes.

Prince will live forever.

The untimely death of the legendary singer rocked the music community on Thursday (April 21), but fans are keeping Prince’s memory alive by purchasing his music in droves on iTunes. At the time of posting, Prince dominated the Top Songs chart, leading the list with “Purple Rain,” followed by “Little Red Corvette,” “When Doves Cry,” “Kiss,” “Let’s Go Crazy,” “1999,” “I Would Die 4 U” and “Raspberry Beret” respectively.

The Top Albums chart was mostly Prince records. The Very Best Of Prince lead the pack, followed by Purple Rain, The Hits / The B-Sides, 1999, Sign O’ The Times, Ultimate: Prince, Controversy and his self-titled ruling the Top 10.

His “Black Sweat” music video was the Top Music Video.

Prince released 39 studio albums in his expansive 30+ year career, four of which topped the charts (Purple Rain, Around The World In A Day, the Batman soundtrack and 2006’s 3121).
