Lily’s new single is a banger.

UPDATE // DECEMBER 12: Lily Allen has now dropped the official audio. Listen below:

Lily Allen’s new single is a banger.

The British pop star hasn’t released a proper album since 2014’s Sheezus, but that could all change soon. Allen was reportedly planning on releasing her new LP this past June, but here we are nearing 2018 and no albums plans have been announced… yet.

Lily’s new single, “Trigger Bang,” which features London rapper Giggs and production from Fryars, hit the Internet ahead of schedule this weekend.

Lily didn’t sweep the bad news under the rug. She informed fans she’s aware of the leak, teased a bit of it on Instagram and added she’s working hard to get it on streaming services ASAP.

“That’s why I can’t hang with the cool gang / Everyone’s a trigger bang, bang, bang, bang, bang,” Allen sings over plunky production and a menacing beat. “Goodbye bygones, I’ve got bigger plans / Don’t wanna put myself in your hands.”

It serves some serious M.I.A. vibes, and I’m OK with that.

The “F**k You” singer’s new album will reportedly include personal songs about the dissolution of her marriage from ex-husband Sam Cooper, her children and the current tumultuous social and political climate. “Weirdly this album is quite insular,” she told Jolyon & Heydon on their News Roast podcast earlier this year. “There are a couple of songs that are [political]… but mainly it has to do with me and my relationship with my children, the breakdown of my marriage, substance abuse etc.”
