I didn’t see this coming, but I am so glad it exists. A collaboration between country superstar Carrie Underwood and rapper Ludacris called “Champion” will drop on Friday. A few previews of it have already hit the Internet – the first of which aired during the Saturday, January 6 NFL Wild Card game between the Atlanta Falcons and Los Angeles Rams. From what I can make of it, “Champion” sounds like a mf bop.

“I am invincible, unbreakable / unstoppable, unshakeable,” Underwood sings over a stomping beat and plunky piano melody. “They knock me down, I get up again / I am the champion / You’re gon’ know my name / You can’t hurt me now / I can’t feel the pain / I was made for this, yeah, I was born to win / I am the champion.”

Luda’s rap spells out what it means to be a champion.

Born champion, Luda!
The C is for the courage I possess through the trauma
H is for the hurt but it’s all for the honor
A is for my attitude working through the patience
Money comes and goes so the M is for motivation
Gotta stay consistent the P is for persevere
The I is for integrity, innovative career
The O is for optimistic, open and never shut
The N is necessary cuz I’m never givin’ up

The song arrives days after Underwood revealed some unsettling news. The singer said a freak accident last year forced her to undergo surgery and required 40-50 stitches to her face. The singer fears fans will think she looks different now. If anyone knows what it’s like to champion through something right now, it’s Carrie.

Listen to the teasers below before the entire thing hits on Friday (Jan. 12), and expect to hear it during the Super Bowl next month.
