Pharrell & Daft Punk's "Gust Of Wind" Video Is A Breath Of Fresh Air

Pharrell & Daft Punk take on the elements.

After mainstream success with their song “Get Lucky,” Pharrell and Daft Punk reunite for their next catchy tune called “Gust Of Wind.”

In the Edgar Wright-directed music video out today, Pharrell is seen dancing (because he’s happy) around in a forest full of women whose sleeves are far, far too long. Think “Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon” & Yogi Bear meets these Daft Punk and Pharrell’s hat.

Daft Punk doesn’t make a cameo in the video, only symbolized by giant, helmet-shaped boulders and stenciled silhouettes at the end.

“When I open the window. I wanna hug you, cause you remind me of the air.”

The video and song are simple, exactly what makes them enjoyable and light-hearted.

Like a gust of wind you push me back every once in awhile.
