A solo JT performance is not the tea.
No Janet, no Super Bowl!
There’s a lot of chatter about whether or not Justin Timberlake would bring out *NSYNC and / or Janet Jackson during his upcoming performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show.
During JT’s recent interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, it felt like something with Miss Jackson was in the works. He opened up about the aftermath of the wardrobe malfunction controversy.
“Naturally, that’s something we talked about,” JT said. “To be honest, it wasn’t too much of a conversation. It’s just one of those things where you go, like, ‘Yeah, what do you want me to say? We’re not going to do that again!’”
Some believed (me) that was a semi-semi-semi confirmation Janet would appear. But an update from Joey Fatone reveals some important updates: there will be no *NSYNC reunion onstage at the Super Bowl, and Janet Jackson probably won’t be there either, because JT isn’t a controversial guy (on purpose). Super lame.
A solo JT performance? I’m disappointed.
