No, RCA Did Not Drop Christina Aguilera

July 5, 2018 By Jordan Miller

Christina Aguilera still belongs to RCA.

Christina Aguilera still belongs to RCA.

Ahh, gotta love the Internet. There’s been a few reports about Christina’s most-recent album, Liberation, not lighting up the charts (SHE’S NOT A CHART CHASER), and that chatter sparked a full-fledged rumor from the ever-reliable Star magazine about her label, RCA, dropping X from the label.

Their headline read: “Xtina Axed From Her Record Label”

Star said Xtina’s “bad attitude” was to blame.

“She wouldn’t listen to any of their suggestions about the album, and as a result, it had really mixed reviews,” a source said. It’s always ~a source.~

“Don’t expect RCA to work on more material with Christina. They’re over her,” they added. A kii!

Well, it’s all BS. A rep for Xtina told GossipCop RCA “gave [Star] a quote saying it’s not true. Star chose not to include.”

How convenient! Justice for Xtina.
