Sigh. Whichever intern thought Tweeting Nicki Minaj was being “dragged by her lacefront” following Cardi’s Grammy win for Best Rap Album is probably already packing their things. See the full list of winners here.

Nicki caught wind of the Tweet and hit back – confirming Young Money was pulling out of the BET Experience and award show – something BET probably can’t afford to lose. The BET Experience takes place on June 20-22 and the BET Awards air on June 23.

Cardi personally weighed in on the controversy, saying it’s not her style to bring someone down like that. She doesn’t mention Nicki by name, but it’s evident she’s referring to the controversy.

It’s worth mentioning Nicki reportedly takes shots at Cardi on her upcoming Avril Lavigne collab, “Dumb Blonde,” though I imagine the biting lyrics could be aimed at naysayers instead.

BET has since apologized, but the Internet is forever.
