Cardi B’s money moves pissed off Nicki Minaj and CupcakKe.

Cardi B’s new album, Invasion Of Privacy, is on track to debut at No. 1 with over 200,000 in sales. That’s very impressive, and it’s got some of her fellow peers on edge.

Nicki Minaj made a huge return today when she released two new songs – “Barbie Tingz” and “Chun-Li” – listen to them here. After the interview, Nicki opened up about her recent drama with Cardi B following their collaboration together on “MotorSport.” She felt like Cardi should have shown her more respect and should be grateful they appeared on a track together (more on that here).

Nicki particularly didn’t like one of Cardi’s interviews where she said, “when I heard the track, [Nicki’s] verse wasn’t finished — well, it’s not the verse that is out right now — and Quavo told me to get on the song, and I just felt like it was a perfect opportunity for me to be on a track that’s big like that,” she said.

Nicki touched on it during her Beats 1 interview, but hopped on Twitter later in the day to clarify: Quavo demanded she remove a singing part off “MotorSport” as to not take away shine from Cardi, and Atlantic Records asked Nicki to remove Cardi’s name from a lyric per Cardi’s request. The tea was spilt.

“How can you say someone changed their verse & forget to say Quavo TOLD me to remove my singing part (which I loved) & Atlantic told me to remove your name from my verse per your request?,” Nicki said. “So how were those changes gonna happen if I didn’t “change” my verse?”

In that same interview, Zane asked Nicki about a leaked verse that supposedly took shots at Cardi. The lyrics go: “I ain’t never play the h-e position, I ain’t never have to strip to get the pole position. B–ches dissing, okay these b–ches wishing,” Nicki raps. She denied it was about Cardi and refused to address it since it was a leak.

CupcakKe is also not Cardi’s biggest fan today. I think everyone needs a breather.
