THAT’S WHAT SHE SAID

“For me, success is a state of mind. I feel like success isn’t about conquering something; it’s being happy with who you are.” – Britney Spears

Everything You Need To Know About The 2020 Grammy Nominations

Music’s biggest night makes room for the newcomers.

The Recording Academy announced the 2020 Grammy nominations, and it appears the leaked list was accurate.

Here’s what you need to know:

Lizzo scored the most nominations with a total of 8, including nods in all of the big four categories: record of the year (“Truth Hurts”), album of the year (Cuz I Love You (Deluxe)), song of the year (“Truth Hurts”) and best new artist.

Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X score 6 apiece. Eilish lands in all of the big four categories as well: record of the year (“Bad Guy”), album of the year (When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?), song of the year (“Bad Guy”) and best new artist. A Britney Spears And Robbie Williams Christmas Cover Of “Fairytale Of New York” Was Supposed To Happen

My only wish this year is new Britney music.

Robbie Williams is releasing a new holiday album this Friday (November 22) titled The Christmas Present, and if it were up to him, it’d include a duet with Britney Spears.

Williams tells Vice he wanted to record a cover of The Pogues’ “Fairytale Of New York,” but because of the pop star’s precarious personal life, the “Work *****” singer could not commit.

The Afterglow: Everything That’s Gone Down Since Taylor Swift Called Out Scooter Braun & Scott Borchetta

Superstars weigh in, business conflicts, denials and more.

Backed into a corner, Taylor Swift felt she had no choice but to air her dirty laundry. The Lover singer revealed in a letter that Scooter Braun and Big Label head Scott Borchetta preemptively stopped Swift from performing her greatest hits at the forthcoming American Music Awards. They claim because it’s televised, she’s technically re-recording her music – something Swift is not legally allowed to do until next year. They also issued a statement denying Swift’s allegations, however her team clapped back with receipts.

The drama caught the attention of some music heavy hitters, including Justin Bieber, who’s managed by Braun, Swift’s bff Selena Gomez, Halsey, Camila Cabello, Tinashe and more. The controversy also reportedly rocked Braun and Borchetta’s professional relationship.

bitbitboi commented on A Britney Spears And Robbie Williams Christmas Cover Of…That Pogues song is so silly sounding, that’s not Britney. She actually has good taste in music, just take a look at her list of covers or simply the songs she chooses for her Instagram videos. Lately she’s in this French mood, but look at the song Robbie sents her way… *smacks face*

DaFoster88 commented on Coming For That #1: Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You”…
“I will stream it will every day after thanksgiving until christmas and then I retire it until the next holiday season”

Tom commented on Fans Reportedly Walk Out Of Janet Jackson Concert In Australia…
“I feel like Janet’s always had a good reputation for balancing some serious performance/vocals well.. I understand her fans having high expectations and walking out if she’s off but I also understand, ya know, she’s not a superhuman machine. That said- Most Broadway chorus performers balance dance and vocals to perfection. Yeah, theres a balance of dancers, singers but the integrity and value of Live is never lost or compromised. A broadway show is always a little electric because (most of it) is live. You Rarely see/hear flaws. I get that artists get lazy with other responsibilities. marketing. but, in all honestly, they should all actually be working on their endurance and stamina because it is possible to maintain regardless of your age and injuries and that’s your job. That’s what you signed up for.”
