Music execs confirm it.

New Music From Rihanna And Katy Perry Dropping This Fall

Finally The Navy has an idea when Rihanna’s forthcoming record will debut.

Rihanna’s latest musical era is a rocky one. She hoped her initial R8 single, “FourFiveSeconds” featuring Kanye West and Paul McCartney, would open the door for her to produce timeless music, but instead it offered a confusing message for fans who stuck by her from the start.

The message blurred further when she shared “American Oxygen” followed by the kitty dropping anthem “***** Better Have My Money.” It appeared Rihanna was throwing songs out and hoping one sticks. This lead to an apparent delay and radio silence as to when we could expect a proper release, though we’ve been offered multiple promotional campaigns from the Barbados beauty from Puma, to her sock line Murder Rih Wrote.

Wait no more.

Tom Poleman, president of iHeartMedia, tells Billboard he anticipates new music from Rihanna (and Kanye West) this fall, saying “Personally I’m anticipating new music from Rihanna and Kanye West — it’s just a matter of time until we get to hear it!”

And we were pleasantly surprised when SiriusXM host, Spyder Harrison, says Katy Perry, who’s still touring her Prismatic show – kicking off her South American leg with Tinashe in late September, will put forth new music as well.

Are you more excited for new Rihanna or new Katy Perry?
