Ricky Martin introduced Britney before she took the stage to deliver a heartwarming speech, and it was quite a pop music moment, dahling. Access Hollywood asked her about that, then busted out a photo of them together nearly 20 years ago.

Our humble fav squirmed at first. “Please stop, really. Are you serious? Oh my god such a dork and a nerd,” she said. “The biggest nerd!”

The host asked, ‘tell me what you remember about this day?’

“I have no idea. I don’t remember,” Britney responded. “The secret to happiness… no memory. Live in the moment!”

Interesting. And there’s definitely something to that! I think we’d all be a lot happier if we took Britney’s advice and stopped looking back and kept out attention on the present moment and what’s to come. Queen always offering life changing advice for us! We don’t deserve her.
