Music Reacts To Paris Attacks

Pray for Paris.

At the time of posting (6 p.m. PST on Friday, Nov. 13), more than 100 people are reported dead after a series of bomb and gun attacks in Paris.

President Barack Obama said in a statement on Friday, “This is an attack not just on Paris, it’s an attack not just on the people of France, but this is an attack on all of humanity and the universal values that we share.”

One witness claims a gunman shouted ‘this is for Syria.’ It is thought the attacks are a form of revenge for the killing of Jihadi John in Syria.

France has declared a national state of emergency and has closed its borders.

The terrible tragedy is a violent act against humanity, and captured the attention of the musicians we report on daily.
